Macron positioned this as France's Stargate moment. "Europe is going to speed up, France is going to speed up," he told France 2. He argued the sum is proportionally equivalent to the U.S. Stargate announcement, adjusting for France's population of 68 million, roughly one-fifth of the United States. The Paris summit is the third major international AI summit, following Bletchley Park and Seoul.
